Band saw filer called The Only, made by Black Diamond Saw & Machine Works, Natick Mass., based on patent no. 942531 by Artemas C. Ambler, granted 12/7/1909. The yellow strip of paper is where the band saw blade goes. There's a blade feed under the file. The Only has a transmission actuated by a spring-loaded pin on the handwheel. When the pin is in, the handwheel is locked so the filer can be driven by a motor and coupling to a right-angle drive shaft and reducing gear on the opposite side.
